Activist California Judge Cares More About Criminals Than California Citizens
This past week in California, another activist judge was responsible for releasing an illegal immigrant from jail for free without any oversight or accountability.
We hate writing about it, but if we don't no one will. This past week in California, another activist judge was responsible for releasing an illegal immigrant from jail for free without any oversight or accountability. According to the judge she sees the work she does every day as a protest against the system.
“Coming to work every day and ensuring that justice is served is my way of protesting,” said Holmes, a former a deputy district attorney for Contra Costa County. “Justice does not always mean a prison sentence,” she added. “Sometimes it means a treatment program, or intensive counseling, and sometimes it means a dismissal.”
But unfortunately, in this case, it meant that someone died. I am sorry but, that is not the type of thinking California residents need from their judges. Her job is to ensure that people who break the law are held accountable. The illegal immigrant that she released from jail on a cashless, free bail, was there because he was caught breaking into people's homes. Refusing to hold him accountable...her way of protesting...she released him into the public to continue to prey on the community...her form of justice. Only days later, this illegal immigrant stabbed a 63-year-old man and father of two to death in front of his own home. Does that sound like justice? Does that sound like accountability? This insanity has to stop. We have to stop treating criminals like they are anything but that...criminals. And judges need to stop releasing these dangerous people back into our communities.
