Criminal Justice Legal Foundation: Ensuring Justice, Accountability and Protecting the Voices of Crime Victims

If you are a resident of California, you are most likely familiar with the state’s love affair with criminals and nonsensical, victim hating criminal justice policies.  Well one organization is standing up to the nonsense. And that organization is The Criminal Justice Legal Foundation (CJLF).  Led by former Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert, CJLF positions itself as the “Legal Firewall for Public Safety and Victims’ Rights.” 

Most recently, CJLF has put its crosshairs on fighting what is most likely California’s most egregious and dangerous policy ever…the early release of prisoners who have been sentenced to “life without the possibility of parole.”  CJLF has dedicated an entire section of their website, “The Faces of The Victims” to educating the public on this dangerous policy and telling the stories of the families and victims that are being revictimized with every convicted violent criminal that is released.  See the fact sheet.
